Rotten is worse than mean

I did something rotten to one of the soldiers at work about a week ago. Don’t feel bad for him, they can take care of themselves. But I felt terrible for awhile. I rarely do rotten things; to me, doing something rotten is far worse than doing something mean and I didn’t like the feeling. But that glimpse of what rotten is made me think of how rotten my neighbors are. They’ve done rotten things in the past and continue to. I don’t see how they can live with themselves, they’re just bad people. And they think it’s funny.

Can you drill down on this a bit? It’s a little too vague for me, personally, to offer any advice.

What’s the difference?

I would be careful @77nick77. This is your job you’re talking about.

I’m also curious about what you did to this person.

I hope it’s not as bad as you’re making it sound. :grimacing:

Also, if they are doing rotten things, can you just pass that information along to a supervisor instead?

what is the difference between rotten and mean? I’m not sure what you mean by it…
