It was sedative for me. I switched to abilify which was energizing. But lately even abilify has become sedative, no idea why. I drink coffee in the morning, try to get sunlight whenever possible, and go to sleep at reasonable hours at night. This sleep diet somewhat helps.
Yes I don’t know how some people can take half of their dose in the morning.
Its not sedative for me, Latuda 80-120mg was sedative for me. I take 4mg Risperdal at night, I sleep at 11:30-12pm. Wake up at 9AM. I never nap during the day.

I take my Risperdal in divided doses.

Its just the negative symptoms that are killing me and I had them when unmedicated too. They were slightly less on Abilify.

I get a risperdal shot every 2 weeks. I’m not sure if it is sedative. I take clozapine and that is sedative to me. Knocks me out when i take them in the evening.

Yea I think Clozapine is sedative, ppl say that and its one of its side effects including drowsiness.
Do you experience sexual side effects from the consta injection?
I’m asexual, i didn’t used to be so i gues it had some side effect, i’m not sure about it though
