Pain research is a fun example. They put warming electrodes on people’s skin. Sometimes they see how long they can have them on before the pain becomes so strong that they can’t take it anymore. But it’s fine because it doesn’t harm their skin. All they need is a good reason to do it and a signed consent form.

@far_cry0…republic of Ireland is independent and a part of the EU, but northern Ireland is part of the uk…about 40% of people in northern Ireland want to be united with th republic of ireland

And AFAIK many of those who don’t are descendants of people who moved there as an attempt to occupy Ireland and spread protestantism. Not a nice history…
