how did you feel about taking unneeded college courses?
I never liked studies and collage…!!!
I was an Art Major first and we had to take every type of art offered. I wanted to get my degree in ceramics. I had never taken any art classes in high school, so I was sort of behind everyone else. I ended up in Art History.
When I was in the military I had gotten about 72 credit hours worth of CLEP tests under my belt because they were free to take. So I didn’t have to take any electives when I got to the university. It can be a little annoying to take art appreciation when I was a physics major. Still not that bad in hindsight.
Never been good at math and I hated having to do it as a requirement. It didn’t help that I kept going psychotic during my classes (I started thinking that math and science in general were stressors or something cuz i kept going sz during those semesters when i was loaded with those types of classes).
I used to have to read a little, do a few problems, take a walk around the block for like 30 minutes, come back, do a little more. I could do my English work in like 20 minute but the math took me hours. It worked, I got through, and now I feel more educated and better about my abilities since I was able to complete required (but unwanted) courses.
