Rejection and obesity

I spent many years being obese in my young adulthood. Nothing hurt me more than the loneliness of feeling rejected because of it. It just made me eat more. Be kind to yourselves and your obese friends. A little kindness can go a long way.

I’ve been bullied endlessly by obese people in my young adulthood.

Yes, I am. But my midriff is still adjusting to it’s new size.

I don’t remember being bullied or being a bully when I was obese. Just feeling that no one understood. It is an uncured disease. No doctor ever helped about it.

I was a fat kid after 3rd grade and up to 15. I was bullied and teased by almost everyone. I had enough and lost about 100 pounds at 15. Suddenly all the guys that teased me wanted to date me. It was empowering to say NO WAY.

im obese im 265, be around people that understand you. Bullies can go eat it.

Nowadays you can do a bypass, it works and it’s covered by the government in Canada. Two of my friends did bypass and lost a lot of weight. My cousin is obese but she was always nice to everyone, now she’s married, she became a nurse. She has amazing personality, I don’t care if she eats a whole cow. My partner was always overweight, but I was attracted to his kindness and personality. Looks isn’t everything but people seem to seek a good looking partner usually, they don’t care how smart you are or what you have accomplished. Men divorce their wives to find a younger girlfriend.

I think a lot of the misery came from my family’s not accepting my weight. So I assumed no one could love a fat person.

I don’t know what is worse, a severe mental illness like schizophrenia or gaining a lot weight on these terrible meds at a very young age. I had my first episode at 21 years old, I am still living with the aftermath and the constant symptoms. Lots of guys are interested in me but for what purpose? I wanna be at peace, that’s the only thing I want from life.
