Reducing the Schizophrenia Stigma: A New Approach Based on Augmented Reality



At one of the community centres I participate in we do “What it’s like to be a voice hearer” workshops. Basically people get an ipod with “voices” talking at them and we run them through a series of tasks for the individual to complete including going out for a walk. It gives non-voice hearers an idea of what it’s like. We run it for professionals and community groups. It helps to break down stigma.
