Really frustrated, want some respite

I’m constantly hearing my neighbors or the TV or thinking I’m going to yell or say something rude or that I have or that I will. Halp.

Years ago, schizophrenics with my insurance talked to a psychiatrist maybe three times a week. The guy I saw was grand.

One day he said we were going to talk about poor impulse control. But it sounded like a pejorative, and I wouldn’t go there. Wish I could go back now and hear what the big man had to say.

If you haven’t already, the best thing you can do is check in with a psychiatrist. They can help you get treatment and figure out what is going on. If you refuse to do that, at least consider confiding this change in someone you trust. More than anything, new symptoms or a change in symptoms means you need outside perspective. We can not always trust our brains.
