Quora for Schizophrenia

I’ve noticed they’re relatively few schizophrenics who use Quora, a website which I frequently contribute to. It’s a question and answer site that is relatively safe and friendly. Wondering if anyone’s learned anything, and would encourage new members to check it out if it piques your interest.

I receive the quora digest in my email maybe 3-4 times a week. I have learned stuff there, although nothing about sz in particular. It’s a good site.

Hahha thanks man…u are good man…do u know when there is going to be cure of sz…

Rapastinel in 2021 will treat depression and schizophrenia through modifying glutamate. Before that, Nuplazid should be approved in 2019 modulating serotonin. Those are the two I think will work best although there are others like ALKS-3831

Saw YouTube videos from SchizophreniaOptions dot com and was happy to note that Negative symptoms can be treated by Sarcosine and N- Aceryl Cysteine. The four part videos give significant data being EXPLAINED BY A Doctor.

Quora is far superior with smarter people and better content. But you have to look to find it.

It’s a bit like comparing apples to oranges. Quora is question and answer, this is forums for schizophrenia and psychosis. I enjoy both sites.

There’s too many sarcy comments from Quora about how questions that are written perfectly well should be rewritten. The moderation sucks. Ie there is no explanation as to why perfectly good comments are removed. I am not against good moderation but there seems to be a control freak approach to it at Quora.

From reading the questions and answers it seems to be inundated with supposedly super high IQ people who in reality are more likely suffering from a heavy dose of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

Ideally I’d like somewhere to ask questions without the condescension and control freak rules . Somewhere that isn’t up its own ass.
