Quetiapine and other antipsychotic medications during pregnancy: a 15-year follow-up of a university hospital birth register

I wouldnt know what I would do, should I fall pregnant now (highly unlikely, I am 41 and celibate). I think I would try stay off haldol as much as I can. Maybe replace it with neurofeedback. I’d be scared of the effects on my child. But a mother sitting in a corner with extreme fear and catatonia is probably not healthy for an unborn child either. :expressionless:

This is kind of like the same thing with SSRIs it’s definitely going to come out in the literature that like drugs and alcohol. Medications are not good during pregnancy. Some women stay away from molded cheeses for example just out of precaution so idk anyone would think any differently about Medication. Other then the fact most people don’t need to eat moulded cheeses everyday to function
