Not sure about efficacy. But i can tell u the side effects
Notable Side Effects
• Akathisia, EPS
• Insomnia, anxiety, sedation
• Urinary retention
I have tried it but stopped it cuz of sexual dysfunction
I tried blonanserin, it is not that effective as risperidone and you require high doses of blonanserin like 8mg to 16mg .It is not available in western countries too.
