Public television in America

PBS, public broadcasting service, is really our best channel. It was originally called ETV, educational television. I guess the British are smarter than us because a lot of the shows are from England.

I also very much appreciate the BBC World news on the radio, a 24 hour news broadcast which you can hear all over the world. The old British men are so boring sometimes it puts me to sleep, but I’ll wake up and listen to an interesting program.

It really is a pleasure to sit and relax listening to NPR, our national public radio, or the BBC World news, which is played from 12 midnight till dawn on NPR stations across the country. On the weekend npr plays entertainment programs.

In Australia I grew up with a lot of UK children’s shows, mostly because there wasn’t any Aussie ones at the time.

I think they are responsible for my more conservative values.

Yes I enjoy it to. I have PBS on my Roku service. It’s a good channel. Documentaries, news what have you. I also get the BBC on my Alexa sometimes. NPR I listen to now and then as well. All good services.
