My best friend and I went to the VA E.R. together to get my friend checked out for some leg and arm swelling. I was paranoid and so was she. I was mind reading and she thought people were laughing at her.
She was released from the E.R. so then we went to this little Mexican restaurant. We were the only customers there. Everything went wonderful at first until it didn’t. Our food was delicious and the service was great. I spoke Spanish with the staff and everything went perfectly until I went to pay the bill. Then, the paranoia hit me really hard like Wham!! Thought broadcasting. Telepathy. Of course then I got confused and couldn’t think straight. I couldn’t find the exit door out of there. The staff directed me out.
Once inside my friend’s truck I was so upset that I was near tears. My apartment was across the street so my friend offered to go there and hold me. I agreed. This eventually comforted me.
