He was worried about me and just picked up the phone without me having an appointment.
This has never happened before.
I was so grateful he took the time to do that, as never have I had a doctor do this.
He has made me like him more than before, as usually pdocs in the NHS in England are guarded by obstructive care coordinators or secretaries
Basically he told me not to worry about my prolactin, as although it’s high it has been stable for the last 4 blood tests.
I also told him how frustrated I am with being kept alive for other peoples benefit. He told me to hold on until I get back from holiday next week and there should be a plan.
I complained about my therapy being over the phone, and ending early. He is going to try and sort that out.
Has anyone else had their doctors being so kind like this just to call to of the blue?
I thought so. It just shows he actually cares. I was getting really agitated with my care coordinator, so he called to try and get me to settle down a bit.
Never a doctor, but I had a therapist do that before. She called to see if I was ok. I was in the middle of downing a bunch of pills because I was suicidal. She convinced me to go to the hospital. I’m glad she did.
Literally got a new care co-ordinator the other week. I was left a year without one. I think they sorted me out one because of my recent 72 hour hospital stay.
Still dont fully trust the woman and ive no intention of seeing her on a regular basis. Im slightly sick to death of forever going on about mental health, when im trying to live a normal life. Just give me my depot jab once a month - and i will do the rest.
