Proof that antipsychotics work/efficacy?

I’ve just started reading about the effectiveness of ap’s on schizophrenia.

This article from the World Health Organisation states that there is low quality of evidence for antipsychotics being prescribed…yet recommendation is ‘strong’…what the hell does this mean? That there is lack of evidence for efficacy? I’m confuzzled :confused:
