For myself. Been weeks since I made something on the stovetop and not in the microwave.
Maybe I can work on this and make it a routine.
How and what do you guys do for food?

Since moving back in with my parents post sz, my dad fixes almost all the meals. I would be happy to prepare one once in awhile but he seems to prefer having control over his kitchen.
As to what, we have a large variety of different meals. Occasionally we get take out as well.
@Bowens your parents are good to you!
I normally just heat ramen in to microwave. Throw the whole bowl packaging away. No cleanup.
@Headspark Ultra convenient. Easy.
My souse loves shredded FROSTED Mimi oats cereal with almond milk.
I’ve seen something similar in the grocery store (I think it’s called frosted mini wheat) but never tried them. The reason I eat this cereal is because it is the healthiest I could find. I’m diabetic (side effect of my old meds) and this cereal has 0 sugar, 0 sodium, high fibre so it’s good for me, and yeah, its convenient and easy!
I’m also trying to cut sugar. From sugary drinks mostly. My lab results show I’m at risk for diabetes. Dr order to cut down on sugar. Failed so far.
Yeah, I use Splenda Sweetener in my coffee/tea and sprinkle it on that cereal (which otherwise is really bland)
a dirty kitchen is a happy kitchen. you made the chief …yea
I sometimes cook an actual meal. I love these ramen noodle thingys that I throw in the microwave for five minutes and yum!
But my specialty is to cook homemade soups especially during the winter months. It’s getting close to chili time again.
