Profit sharing mortgage

My husband and I are considering doing that. We could go up to 10 years without a mortgage payment before we have to sell our home and share the profit with them, which they say is 8%.

It would help us have enough money to care for our kids a bit longer, the youngest will be 27 in 10 years. Do that gives time for them to get out on their own, and then my husband and I can downsize.

We are looking into other options still though

Hmmm. Not heard of this before. Seems like an interesting option to take.

Yeah. It’s a pretty cool concept. There are fees involved too, but the offer we got was a really good one

I’ve never heard of it as well. Do you know anyone who has done it?

My husband used to own a mortgage company and knows all about it from people he worked with back then

That’s great you have inside information. That eases my mind about it.

Yeah. It’s legit, but you have to be careful. They can charge way too much for their own profit. You have to get a good offer and get it all down on paper
