So depressed gained like 11 pounds in 6 days after taking and stopping predisone after finding out Im allergic to it broke out in a rash on my right leg and right shoulder that was itchy went away after stopping it but the weight gain didnt go away its a common side effect of the drug plus havent been to the gym in a month since Ive been sick so that may have somerhing to do with me gaining weight too just great doesnt help with my breathing issues either to gain that much weight in such a short time

Im hoping I will lose the weight after stopping it and it doesnt take .me months to lose that would suck

That sounds really frustrating, especially after dealing with the side effects of prednisone and not being able to get to the gym. I’ve had a similar experience with weight gain from meds, and it can feel like it’s piling on top of everything else. Once you’re feeling a bit better, even just getting outside for a walk or doing light exercises at home might help with the weight and your breathing. It took me some time to get back into a routine, but things did balance out eventually.

Will be going back to the gym soon as next week hopefully over time it will help me to lose the weight Ive gained from taking prednisone
