175,000 families without electricity over the last 48 hours, myself included. We are all getting to know each other, neighbors meeting and greeting neighbor.
I’ve done more irl socializing in the last two days than I’ve ever done my whole life.

A really bad wind storm. Winds at 90 miles per hour toppled trees and branches all over town, knocking down power lines @Bowens .

We had something similar about a year ago. Listening to the generators all day was one of the worst parts of it. Our power was out for over a week. I can’t remember exactly how long. The heat can get pretty bad with no A.C. in the summer too.

I’m sorry about that. My situation is eased by the fact that the weather has been drop dead gorgeous lately.
