Do you live below it? I get almost 40% of the poverty line in my area. If I had income enough to live at the poverty line I would not complain. If you live above it, could you get by with just the poverty line?

Im pretty sure i live in poverty (only regarding UK nationwide statistics) but globally i know that i am well off the poverty line.
I do wish it was easier. But i wont complain

I would not even be able to afford rent and would be homeless if I lived at the poverty line. I would have nothing for food or any other expense.

With rent these days and other expenses I don’t think I could do it. I am truly grateful for my lot in life. Could be much worse.

I have pretty cheap lifestyle. We own our house, it’s all paid for. The electric isn’t much because we burn wood in the winter. Even my cellphone bill is budget price. No cable or internet. If they were to up benefits to the poverty level I’d not want for much.
