71 sounds hotter than 22. 0 sounds colder than 32. Is that right?

22 celsius is 71.6 fahrenheit exactly. Well, from the googles conversion calculator. Warming up now at 30 celsius to a max today of 38 celsius. Basically it’s hot today but it is Summer here in OZ.

Here in California we’re having record-breaking hot temperatures. I think the guy on the radio said it’s 15 degrees hotter than what the average temperature usually is for this time of year. It was too hot this afternoon but it’s 6:30 pm right now and it’s a little colder.

Stay safe and warm!

It was sunny but brisk here today in the Bay Area CA

That trips me out… Here in Seattle… we are having an early spring… it’s 55 degrees out, slight breeze, warm, no rain, no frost… Odd.

Ugh…28oC at 4am in the morning. No wonder I can’t sleep. It’s going to be a long day.

The power was out for seven hours. Lights still flicker from time to time.

Here it is not yet finished blowing or even accumulating, so shoveling is a tad inefficient. We’re expected to get three more inches actually. But there’s only so much I can do at any one time to shovel out these two cars of ours, so I made a start as the light ran out with the setting sun! I got a little bit done. My back is bad, but the real limiting factor is my breathing. And I’m a nonsmoker, too!

Fortunately, the electricity has stayed on since I came in, and I’m two thirds dry already!

It was snowing a lot…but it slowed down. We were supposed to get a crazy blizzard but it only ended up being like a foot. Classes got canceled anyways though!

It’s Odd sitting here on the other side of the nation watching the east get hit so hard while we’re in early spring like conditions.

@SurprisedJ The weather here has not been to bad. The storm went mostly around me as it headed east. Low in the 50s today. A degree or two warmer tomorrow, than back into the 40s. For the rest of the week.
Thank you for your concern.

Hope everyone that is being hit by this storm are doing ok.

I haven’t done fantastic with the changes the storm has meant for me.

I did watch a little TV, which was kewl. I almost never watch TV anymore, that is. Specifically, I just watched Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford in The Way We Were.

How do I make decisions in my life? Really, I have reservations in Connecticut for two nights starting tomorrow at the casino. But I’ve not even got one car free. And more snow is expected for Friday.

So local papers in my town running true to form with the hype and hysteria headlines.

Oh… Silly news papers.

On a serious note… glad to hear that people are safe and warm.

the north wind shall blow, and we shall have snow…

Please send some of the cold weather my way. Thank you in advance.

The ā€œBlizzardā€ of the Century turned out to be more Hype than anything else - In my area it turned out to be a bust - We got normal amounts of snow - @SurprisedJ - Thank Goodness - But I do know that New England got Hammered
