Chocolate tart!

You need:
milk chocolate
Bittersweet chocolate
Heavy cream
Oreos
Butter
Strawberries

Crush the Oreos. Add melted butter to the crushed Oreos. Mold into pie dish. Put in freezer to harden. In the meantime heat the heavy cream until just steaming. Pour over the chocolate. Wait 2 minutes and then stir. Pour mixture into Oreo crust. Top with sliced strawberries.

If anyone wants measurements let me know!

That’s cool! What kinds did you grow?

Greens are so nice— you can throw them in a salad, on top of soup, in a sandwich, or as a garnish. So versatile :leafy_green:

Those are actually pea sprouts, as my grocery store didn’t have alfalfa sprouts. But they work pretty great as well.

I made these for a party.

I like nes cafe original coffee with brown sugar, tiny amount of nutmeg, milk and cocoa powder(half teaspoon).

I like adding brown sugar to spaghetti bolognaise as well , just a sprinkle. It tastes really good

Also brown sugar sandwiches are yummy with butter, and sometimes I add a banana.

Best brown sugar is Billingtons. Any other sugar doesn’t quite tast as good and usually cheaper brown sugar is bitter in aftertaste

And ham and Brussels sprouts sandwiches with mayonnaise is the bomb

One of the better items I make (and I made these last night), is smoked baked beans. I make these as a side to whatever protein I am smoking.

Big can of Bush’s vegetarian baked beans, drained
diced onions
bbq sauce
ketchup
mustard
brown sugar
Worcestershire sauce
whatever rub you like

I’ve also done these in the oven. They turn out great, either way

My late Mother’s fish casserole as explained to me by my brother. It was one of my favourite childhood meals . When my parents separated in 1978.(. My mother moved out, ) that was the last time I had it for over 40 years until my oldest granddaughter attempted to make it for me. She did well, but it wasn’t quite as good as my Mum’s.

Hi Tim , it’s a good recipe for the fish casserole but difficult to explain and you need slightly salted butter , you need a nice fillet of cod divided in half but you can put in more , basically you would layer sliced onions and tomatoes and potatoes and place the cod in between the layers ,also place knobs of butter as you build up the layers , use a covered casserole dish and put this all in a hot oven cook for about an hour ( covered) then remove the lid to allow the dish to brown off , then serve and eat , you use a whole pack of butter in the dish and mum’s secret was the cod cooks up a nice sauce with the butter and it all creates a rich sauce but sometimes the dish can be salty cos of the butter so add some black pepper and avoid using any extra salt till you taste the dish, also you need enough sliced potatoe for about three layers

By modern standards it’s far from a healthy meal, but it was ever so delicious.
