I choose to try and not get into any religious affiliation to avoid going delusional religion wise. Thats why I hadn’t ever gotten help for a little bit.

Buddha isn’t a god. Just thought I would throw that out there.

i thought they were all the same except just with different names, i think Jesus was the son of God but still a part of the trinity, tbh out of everything that i have learnt i couldn’t imagine believing anything else.

I was going to say that Buddha wasn’t a god too but thought I’d just leave it be…

I think a lot of these choices are actually different names for the same god too.

In the type of Buddhism I follow we believe that God is not outside of ourselves. We all have Buddhahood, and when you chant you raise your life condition. :sunny:

Not to be finicky, but it really depends on the definition of “God”. If you’re speaking from the “God is the top and there is none other” perspective, then I don’t believe in any “God”. If it’s the “God is a higher power” and I respect that kind of thing, then yes I have a god. The term actually came from a god who’s name was…God.
I don’t bow before anything or anyone. I respect higher powers, and I learn from them, but I could never see myself bowing before it/them.

God is The Almighty, The Creator, and surely He does have a name personally.

I am human being, of course. But surely I do have a name personally.

If i be created and have a god then i suppose that’d be him, her, it, i don’t know.

Does one choose a god? I wouldn’t think so.

I’ve never chosen a god, if he, she , it, or they are the god then they are the god and i can’t change that.

Speaking of gods, for a while I had once believed I was some sort of God. Not sure how I was convinced I was but it had me going for a while.

One of my delusions a few years back was that I was God, I was center of the universe and everything. Very egocentric.
