I only drank socially, but I could drink quite heavily. I didn’t like how I behaved while intoxicated, so when my friends finally moved out of city/state I finally decided I could stop pretending I liked doing it.

I will occasionally have a beer or two when I’m with my friends. I used to avoid it altogether, but I’ve loosened up on that rule.

I don’t drink at all. In Islam it is not allowed, and even before I became Muslim I didn’t like the taste of wine or beer etc, it was too strong for me, made me feel sick, so I don’t miss alcohol at all.
