I read about muscle depletion that occurs in your 40’s unless you do some strength exercises, so I started with 20 press ups and worked up from there a few years ago. I now do 120 every morning and hope to continue until I die. I am 49 now.
Being that you are overweight you really need to start out slowly. Jumping right in may not be good for you.
Argh. I jumped in to quickly. I’m “only” 51.
That’s ok @everhopeful
Your vote counts too!
My work is mostly heavy lifting, I get all kinds of Exercise most days
LS! I am 63! For the last three and a half years I exercised daily. Currently I walk an hour a day, half an hour Vinyasa yoga, I either go to the gym for strength training or I train at home.
@anon96203037 you are like 16, your vote doesn’t count.
I’m 62 and have arthritis in my lower back, hip, and knee. It’s a challenge just to walk somewhere.
I am obese and physically unhealthy, plus my motivation is low.
I am 57 years old.
Wave, it’s a high limit you’ve put.
I think you should include younger folks, like 40+…
This way, many folks my age, including me at 47 cant exercise because of health reasons.
I had a hip surgery, and cant carry more then 5kg…
Yeah I realized this.
I just wanted to see what folks around my age are handling exercise.
Do you want to make a different poll including all ages @anon22846033?
Nah… To old for that
