I eat like a king at my board & care home. We have such great meals here and there is always a lot left over that they keep in the refrigerator that we can help ourselves too any time of day or night. Tonight was steak and corn on the cob. It’s 3:30 am right now and I just finished eating a bunch of pieces of steak.
Not sure about this one. I know there is a school of thought that says eating 5 small meals a day is conducive to weight loss if you are trying to lose weight. Whether that is accurate or not I don’t know.
I try to limit my food input… I eat 3 main meals and 2 snacks in between. I never finish my meals even if I am still a bit hungry. Still, I haven’t lost any weight during the past month since I started refraining myself from eating to my heart’s content…
Before treatment I wasn’t eating at all. Food did more than keep me alive and was a source of grave anxiety. Now, I try to eat three times a day with lite bites and coffee breaks in between. Food is pleasurable but I forgot how that feels. More often than not it is a necessity rather than a comfort.
I make a lot of healthy shakes - do not like food so much.
I only eat when i have to, keeps me at a steady weight
3s’ the vote… and take it from me, it’s better when you eat regular meals compared to when you don’t.

it’s something only others can prove… but I have this theory regular meals actually improve your mental conditions when with schizo… since my diagnosis… I haven’t been eating under a proper diet. I just started eating 4+ meals per day in June and right now, I’ve never felt better.
It’s best to eat a small meal every few hours, and it’s especially important to eat a small meal soon after you awake to begin metabolism.

I’m always angry with my father because he only does two meals at day !!
