Both our dogs and cats are very loving. Sure I am a slave to the cats but I accept that role.

My parents had a cat just before I was born, but after I was born my mom told my dad to give the cat to my grandmother because she had heard stories about cats sitting on babies faces while in the crib because cats like the warmth of the babies breath, but then they suffocate and kill the baby. They then got a dog and I’ve had a dog my whole life.

I am a cat person through and through. They clean themselves, amuse themselves and are very affectionate (at least my cat is). I like little dogs, but not big dogs. I find them intimidating.
