My voices are usually quietier in the middle of the night if I wake up from sleep. They’re also quieter right after I get up.
How about you?
- My voices are quieter both in the middle of the night and right after I get up
- My voices are quieter in the middle of the night but not right after I get up
- My voices are quieter right after I get up but not in the middle of the night
- My voices aren’t quieter in either situation
It’s the total opposite for me. When I am trying to sleep, the voices can be deafening, and nothing will drown them out. Any time it is quiet or I am alone, they are worse. When I’m around people, they usually go away completely.
Nights can be terrifying for me! Voices at night result in secondary insomnia for me

My voices seem to be quieter at night for some reason.
My voices torment me at night if I can’t fall asleep the get very active.
Sometimes I can not sleep because of them.
