Poll: Do your voices get quieter in the middle of the night and right after you wake up?

My voices are usually quietier in the middle of the night if I wake up from sleep. They’re also quieter right after I get up.

How about you?

  • My voices are quieter both in the middle of the night and right after I get up
  • My voices are quieter in the middle of the night but not right after I get up
  • My voices are quieter right after I get up but not in the middle of the night
  • My voices aren’t quieter in either situation

It’s the total opposite for me. When I am trying to sleep, the voices can be deafening, and nothing will drown them out. Any time it is quiet or I am alone, they are worse. When I’m around people, they usually go away completely.

Nights can be terrifying for me! Voices at night result in secondary insomnia for me :disappointed_relieved:

My voices seem to be quieter at night for some reason.

My voices torment me at night if I can’t fall asleep the get very active.

Sometimes I can not sleep because of them.
