I don’t wake up feeling refreshed.
Sometimes, I had again a vivid dream when I woke up. In my dream one Italian man had got the DUI in my little town and then suddenly he was drunk and making pizzas in a restaurant. Suddenly I was somehow linked to a law firm and then I woke up. I often have these vivid dreams.
No, and I think it truly stinks.
For those who do, which meds are you on?
always wake up refreshed, and dread the end of the day waiting to fall asleep.
im on invega trinza, highest dose 819mg.
Until I take my meds, sure!
Im on invega sustenna 234mg. Maybe there’s something different with trinza other than dose
I always have very vivid dreams. And if I don’t have to wake up to an alarm, (which I never do), I always wake up refreshed. I sleep about 10 hours a night.
I’m on Risperdal Consta shots, Geodon, Seroquel, Trazodone and Celexa.
When I switched from Risperdal pills to Risperdal Consta shots, I lost 50 lbs. and kept it off.
i also lost weight on it, 30 pounds. i think meds affect us differently. not sure about the med really.
How did you wake up on sustenna?
I lost 60 pounds
i slept much more on sustenna. like 10 hours a night, i was still refreshed in the morning, but didn’t have to wake up to an alarm clock, or force myself to get up early. now i only sleep 8 hours a night and still feel refreshed. the early part of my day is the best part of my day.
I need my morning coffee to be refreshed. Otherwise I sleep again and again.
I voted NO because I wake up feeling almost the same as before going to sleep. That is, neither tired nor energized. Some state that’s hard to describe, akin to a calm, indifferent wakefulness.
Sometimes I do, but I remember those mornings when I was in high school and I woke up and wanted to go back to sleep so bad. It was worse than anything I experienced in the army, though there were a couple of times when we went without sleep for two or three days. This was when I was in the army before the Reagan military buildup.
When I sleep, my body gets reset. Then I go through the day collecting my issues as I go.
My bed time is usually very early these days, as I get so agitated with my head that I get pissed off and go to sleep
I wake about 4am, and I like that time of day, as I am coming to, and don’t have the baggage of the day in my head
So yeah, I call it refreshing. The end of the day I hate
I’ll start nodding off around 8pm.
I’ll wake up take my pm meds and fall asleep on the couch.
Then I’ll wake up 2 hours later to take my pup out to potty.
I’ll do this all night long, waking up every 2 hours to take out my puppy for bathroom breaks.
It’s a lot of work taking care of a young puppy.
I’ve always been a morning person, so I think it’s more that than the meds, but when I was on just perphenazine I had a hard time waking up. But since I started Rexulti I wake up much more easily. I’ve only been on it a few days, but I’m liking it so far.
I have insomnia problems now because of my meds.
Occasionally I wake up refreshed.
I do feel better if I take a sleeping pill (hypnotic or benzo) but I don’t take those every night.
After switching to Abilify, I no longer get up feeling tired and feel fairly refreshed now. The only thing is I’m not sleeping as much, maybe 6 to 7 hours a night vs 12 hours on Zyprexa.
