I saw a nurse practitioner awhile back instead of a gp. The last two that I have seen have been doctors though.
My NP asked me some questions that I answered somewhat, frequently, and most of the time. She then ordered a vitamin D test and hit the nail on the head. My vitamin D was extremely low.
I prefer nurse practitioner because they cant sign a form to put you away
Thanks dividedself. That’s one I haven’t heard before. If you’re in the USA I thought a judge has to rule that you be involuntary committed.
Im in canada a psychiatrist only has to sign a form to lock you in the hospital and they can extend it as much as they want unless you successfully fight it.

Canada has public health but its not very good and if youre disabled or poor theres not much help for you
