I guess, do you mean my illness progression? Textbook. My particular delusions? A little odd.
More like how you feel at any given moment, can people understand you better by just knowing you have a psychotic disorder, or is your illness more mysterious in its nature? Hope im making sense.
My illness was textbook. But I think I’m higher functioning on meds than most, considering, how delusional I was off meds. My pdoc said I was one of the tougher cases he’s had, yet I’m very functionable…that’s whats unique about me…a positive thing.
Aaaah I’d say a bit of both then.
I’d say mine is unique… At least that’s what people tell me… I don’t have negative voices and even ones who say their demons tend to help me out by showing where I can improve in my life… Never had a commanding or threating one…
in a sense I feel everyone has their own unique experiences with this, although I consider myself very ‘textbooky’ because I was able to pinpoint most of my symptoms very well to sz.
Textbook religious and paranormal delusions and hallucinations.
The burst of information my brain relays to me at times in the form of knowledge or voices relaying the knowledge . Feels unique
Textbook enough for them to diagnose me, but quite a lot of my internal experiences were unique.
my psychosis is very similar to yours @Nomad It’s unique on a lot of levels and personal but when I read some of the stuff you mentioned, we both experienced similar things… cheers to insanity
Mine started out in paranoia and then switched to erotomania and then turned back to extreme paranoia as I was deeper and deeper into psychosis.
Cheers

I had the typical mind reading/broadcasting through radiowaves, paranoia, delusions that people were out to kill me.
Unique might maybe be the part that made me believe I could walk on water.
My psychosis is unique, just like everyone else’s.
