I was doing “OK” up until a month ago, and right now I’m struggling. I’m just assuming it’s a bad patch and will pass.
How are you doing right now/currently?

I’m doing pretty good. My life isn’t perfect but it’s not really bad either.
Doing ok, better now that Im thinking…I need to trust people more and take what they say at face value.
For now I am doing ok.
BUT if/when I develop a tolerance to clonazepam and am no longer able to sleep I will be back in the struggle. I’ve read a lot of user reviews on clonazepam as a sleep aid and some people use it for years and it continues to work, others develop a tolerance within months. So who knows how it will go?
I hope my ability to sleep naturally comes back before my tolerance to clonazepam sets in.
I had never taken sleep medication before…I’ve been taking ambien and it does work…I just take 5mgs if I cant sleep and usually fall asleep within an hour or so. It doesn’t seem to affect how I dream negatively or anything…but I know it doesnt work for a lot of people.
I tried ambien 10mg and developed a tolerance after 3 days. It just stopped working. It’ll work if I spread it out, like using it once a week, but that isn’t practical, I need to sleep every night. I’ve tried lots of different types of medications for sleep, 1.5mg of clonazepam is the only thing that works satisfactorily for me.
I’m doing alright. Could do without the negative symptoms but what ya gonna do?
I’m doing okay, but I do have to lie down soon. When I’m tired, I get Bitchie and the voices get more prominent. On that cheery note LOL, I’m off to bed
I am struggling right now. Trying to stay out of the crisis center and the hospital. But don’t want to become a danger to others.
I’m struggling. I am such an addict. I hope to make an improvement within a fortnight.
Same, I got used to negative symptoms so for myself I don’t struggle anymore but those around me probably think I struggle as I can’t work.
Have you made the switch to clozapine yet?
Not yet, Dr is waiting for me to do the blood test 8 nov. Dr apt is 13 nov. I already did the EKG heart test for Clozapine, it was normal.
Cool, keep us updated
Yea of course, Dr said to not expect a miracle from Clozapine so it won’t make me the same as before sz but she said its definitively better than my risperdal for negative symptoms. She said something about risperdal blocking dopamine too much in all the brain.
I’m managing ok.
Still bothered by negatives but my positives are under control.
My moods have been pretty stable lately.
Thank goodness.
I’m sorry you’re struggling lately @everhopeful
Hopefully it’s a rough patch and soon it will dissipate.
Whats wrong @everhopeful?
Did you ever thought of Benadryl for example? It’s not addictive and is even without prescription in my country… it’s an antihistamine and it helps for the sleep.
Anyway, maybe I am a bad advice, but it’s one of the few meds without prescription which I feel effective a bit.
Just feeling overwhelmed by things that are happening in real life. Thanks for asking @anon22846033 .
I tried benadryl, it’s available here without a prescription too. It only put me to sleep for a few hours and after about 6 days I developed a tolerance to it and it stopped working. The last time I tried it I took 175mg and didn’t sleep at all.
Thanks though!
