Policy Statement

Owing to some of the stuff on other threads, it seems like it might be worthwhile to clear some air.

If others want to support the delusions of those who are sometimes delusional (we all are at times) with politically correct “nicey nicey,” that’s fine. This forum provides for =free= expression.

But I learned the VERY hard way that belief in b------t almost killed me in 1997 and 2002. Worse (by far, actually) belief in ■■■■■■■■ ruined dozens of precious relationships I’ll never be able to rebuild. I owe my life today to having learned that it’s either look to see, listen to hear, and feel to sense what is… or expect to have to deal with consequences of not doing so.

This is an open forum for free expression. We wouldn’t want it any other way, save for when things that are written are so dangerously delusional that they actually encourage the self-destruction of the writer him or herself… or the compromised minds of readers who buy into them.

So. Those who disagree with what I write are welcome to say whatever they do. But don’t expect me to give up sharing what turned my life around despite all the ■■■■ I did to myself because I believed in not only the plain weird crap typical of psychotic paranoia, but in too much of the common cult-ural claptrap.

You should not have to compromise any workings that got you well, and in fact, thank you for sharing what helped you and made you strong.

In many ways, I think you are an example of what can be achieved and I welcome what you have to say. Many people on here will succumb to opinions and that only, and it can be ok, but not really proven, and I think you offer more than that. Thanks, @notmoses.

Yes. This is a good idea. People don’t know how dangerous it is. I believe you when you say

I think I tried to “ascend” before.

I got better when I realized the whole world doesn’t revolve around me.

When something is pseudo-scientific, I try to stay away from it. I already have a pseudo-scientific & even pseudo-religious worldview worked out and will edit it in minor ways, but sometimes others believe and experience things that would require a complete overhaul of my system, therefore I have to avoid with straight up caution certain discussions of delusion.

And yeah, even people who don’t have SZ have some pretty bold delusions!

Everyone has said their piece and I’ve kicked this upstairs to @SzAdmin.
