“Tongue Tied”
so hard to put into
words just what i’m
feeling, keeping it
instead inside because
who wants to hear it
anyways, not looking
for sympathy or a
pity party but that’s
how it comes across in
my mind at least, all
alone in my world of
accusing thoughts and
emotions that just seem
to run amuck so I
just bottle it up,
sitting quietly in my
own little corner of life
