i remember the good
old days when everybody
wasn’t a wannabe
activist, hellbent on
saving the world from
all sorts of perceived
injustices, perpetually
offended on behalf
of others because it
feels really good to
do so, the spirit of
the 60’s alive and
well in modern
America, it all gets a
little tiresome, really
I think activism is great but some people go overboard and it turns people off and they become rebellious, not me, I try to be politically correct. I don’t have all the pc language down pat. But I try. But can almost understand SOMETIMES why people turn it around and go the other way. I don’t get bigotry. I don’t like it or approve of it in anyway. But some things just are NOT meant to be offensive, but people will call u prejudice or whatever anyways. It’s offputting when you can’t breathe without being called racist or something
I totally agree, man. I am all for equality and would like everybody to get along and all that but, like you said, a lot people go overboard with it. Crazy world.
Never tiresome. Change is good. Last night I had flashbacks of orca whales when I worked at DK. The pain in the eyes of a sentient being capable of understanding pain. You could see the sadness in shookas blood shot eyes as she was commanded to get out of the water to do tricks for her master’s.
I think it’s admirable to want to change the planet for the better. I used to be a wildlife activist my mother had one back of a time with my zoo of my rescued animals.anyway I miss caring so much. Crying over ants being stepped on I wanna go back to being so sensitive and in touch with my emotional state of being so unselfish and giving.
