Poem: Caterpillar

I catch myself Smiling for no reason
Singing, even though there is no Music
Kinder, lighter, as Innocent as a Child
I am better, stronger, than I’ve been
For longer than I can remember

You are the reason that I smile
The reason that I sing
So I wait for you, because you make Me Whole
You make me feel Alive even though I Know
That our Love will be my Death

We should delete the last Line
It is so sad
I was in a dramatic state of mind while I wrote it.

Oh really? I thought of it, as you said, What appears to be the end for a caterpillar, is really the beginning for a butterfly. I think it’s quite beautiful

Yes I know that quote
What the cattepillar calls the end of the world
The world calls a butterfly

So in the end of every tragic love affair appears a beautiful butterfly?
Am I right?

I didn’t really think of it as being tragic, but being set free. But I see what you mean, you can take it either way. Beautiful Lines by the way
