Changing the name won’t do anything. You can call schizohrenia whatever you want but it won’t change the substance of the disorder. I can call schizophrenia God and the word God would take on the meaning of schizophrenia and be associated with insanity.

I feel like my brain is split, especially when I hallucinate. It’s like I’m in between two worlds.

I dislike my pacemaker’s current name. I want doctors to call it a supercharger moving forward. Sounds sportier. I’ll still be slow as hell, but man will I look fast when I’m parked.

We should rename it “stigma”. That will cut out the middleman and it will upset us but at least it will make things clearer and the people who bug us and the people suffering from it will all be on the same page.
