I finally figured out that the secret to maintaining the desired hand position is to relax and not put unnecessary pressure on your hands.
The only problem is back pain, which is a normal problem for all harpists out there.
The same can be said for all musical instrumentalists. You have to not give a ■■■■ so you can relax.
