Despite what may or may not happen due to covid my plans for the new year are
Develop my radio shows and website and get more listeners.
Get a job at the station.
Get baptised
I’d like to meet a nice Lady.
Attend my Clubhouse and get more involved in the newsletters.
Develop my Garden and acquire certain things like tyres, Bricks and cement,
I have been working on my compost making skills and plan to plant a nice step and various other things, find out how to get cuttings and plant various plans including- wildflowers, plants, herbs Veg, fruits. i would like to build a barbeque and a log fired sauna.
For 2021 I plan to get a Covid vaccine first of all. My partner will too. They are administering them now at my local VA hospital. Both Pfizer and Moderna. I was surprised.
Same as I’ve been doing. Avoid alcohol and exercise more. Get down from overweight to healthy bmi. Work on my cricket to improve and continue to play in a higher grade. Look good in shorts at least for this summer. Be kind to strangers. Be kinder to friends.
And I’d agree. This coming year has to be better and I’ll be doing my darndest to make it so!
The vaccines will work and they’re going to loosen things up.
The vaccines will not work, but they’ll be forced to unlock things because of how COVID mostly affects oldsters and those on the margins. Not possible to keep things locked down forever without the entire economy grinding to a halt.
One way or another, we’re moving forward. Just kind of hope that I’m part of it.
I hope you’re ok too once we get through all this mess @shutterbug The vaccines are a good thing, but I also worry about how fast they brought them in, but I guess that’s more of a layman’s concern as I won’t even pretend to understand how they develop them! Important thing is the work being done to try and solve this seems to be providing results.
We just need to try and keep this new variant at bay here. I live less than 30 miles away from where this is all kicking off in Southern England, and I am so worried about what this is going to do. I just hope people respect the stay at home order, and it reduces some risk.
It’s not only this one spreading, but the fact that there could be so many more mutations in places that don’t have the technology or the science to catch it before it spreads too far.
Fingers crossed this does not happen, but we need to be prepared.
