I’ve been called for an interview but I’m not sure this gonna happen.

What is PIP? I’ve only heard it as picture in post.

I am happy to help you with the pip form, as I claimed pip myself last year.
You will get the money on top of other benefits and wages.

Thanks @Simonw. The form already filled. Got called for assessment. I don’t think I’ll get through

Good luck! :four_leaf_clover:

If you don’t get it you can get a mandatory reconsideration and if that doesn’t work appeal at tribunal!

I just had a tribunal last week… The CAB helped me navigate the process!

Take someone with you and say everything that happens on bad days… Though they report on how this would effect you on a typical day.

Basically they run through your form again

Thank you. This is the problem though. I’m having good days. It’s gonna be hard for me because I barely remember the hard days :flushed:

Good luck. PS don’t wear your war paint. If they don’t approve your PIP, I will! :slightly_smiling_face:

Please explain lol. I don’t think it’s gonna be approved tbh.

Fight the system… I did and a year later with help from my support worker and the CAB got it at tribunal.

Have you seen the descriptors, so you know where you’ll get the points?

You need at least 8 for standard care!

OK their are 2 components, CARE & MOBILITY.
Each component is subdivided into activities, which come with different points dependent on how you struggle.

I got 18 points I think I won’t qualify … plus I’m working so they’ll think I’m alright. But all the job entails is copy pasting and they needed to show me I find it tough to do something with just written instruction.

That’s not what the assessment is about, it’s not ESA and your work capability,

It’s about your independence and what help you need to maintain it.

18 points for care would get you the higher rate of PIP! I think you need at least 12!
