they found the remains of Gabby’s killer, boyfriend.
I didn’t read the article, to find out if he was killed,
or if he took his own life.
but Phil thought it would be suicide.
so, I guess that story is done.
I dunno why, but this story caught my attention.
Might be because I too went on a cross-country roadtrip when I was around 21, and hit up the Tetons-- the same place they found Gabby Petito.
Was prodromal then, and extremely paranoid I was gonna get killed at some point during the trip.
Anyways, it’s strange knowing they found her boyfriend’s remains… Like eerie closure maybe.
I believe true closure will come once they analyze the notebook that was found next to his remains.
To think he was out there for about a month in the Florida swamps… Perhaps he died of his own hand, and the gators finished the job.
Not sure if he’s guilty yet-- I’ve kinda been holding out hoping that the two of them split and he went for a long hike to clear his mind, and that her death was at the hands of some wayward murderer.
But I think the notebook will hold some info that will finally put this whole thing to bed.
Tragic story all around.

yeah, but if he Did kill himself,
he would have gotten the death penalty anyway,
so it almost seems his death is a confession.

Yea I see what you’re saying for sure.
But that’s if it was a murder-suicide though.
I really hope he didn’t have anything to do with his girlfriend’s death, and that his demise was something else. Maybe some psycho out on the trails or something. That’s my SZ brain talking, though 
.
I’ve heard theories that perhaps her death was accidental-- like sex gone wrong-- and he freaked.
Hopefully they release the contents of the notebook so we can have some closure.
