How many of you are stable on med for a long time ? Percent stability ?
100% stable for about 5 years.
By stable I mean no psychotic episodes and no hospitalizations.
So it’s possible.
That’s nice to know any positive symptom otherwise?
No positive symptoms really. I never hallucinated or heard voices though.
I have some unusual beliefs and I get heavy negative symptoms and I have cognitive issues (like I don’t have the concentration to read a book or drive).
So do u drive ? I don’t can’t
No I don’t have the concentration to drive. I’d just cause an accident.
So how do you do ur errands?
I get my groceries delivered.
I don’t leave the house very much. If I have to leave the house I get a taxi.
Ok that’s nice I have agoraphobia so cherry on top of not able to drive so I can’t even independently leave
Oh geez. Sorry to hear that.
I am stable if stress levels are normal. It has been that way for 13 years so I have found good med in Olanzapine.
I have been pretty stable since 2015. I still have had symptoms but I have been able to function.
I have never been hospitalised for psychotic treatment. and my mends have been coming down with no voices.I call that a win.
All this medication is doing is taking away the vibration but I think I’m just doing that on my own. I don’t like what I’m on, if I take it makes my heart beat fast and I get waves of lightheadedness and dizziness and I feel nauseous most of the time too but I still think I’m telepathic…
My doctor always change medications
My last hospitalization was 12 years ago. I don’t know if I’m stable, but I’m good enough to be out of hospital.
I’d say I’m about 95% stable. The way I think of it, for every hundred days, I might have 5 symptomatic days. I’ve been on meds for the past two going on three years before that I spent about two years off meds and before that I had been on meds for nearly 6 years or so.
