Aaaah thanks you all for such a nice support @Vinegar
Its really a big day today
I felt so much relief from one dose of adderall. My current psychosis and ocd thoughts disappeared for 5 hours. My thoughts cleared up.
I still have sza as antipsychotics work wonders for me
Antipsychotics still help me on worst days, but I never knew I can feel so normal as on this med..
First time in 10 years while I have this normal human motivation to do something..
Now I know why for so many years I was looking for answers. @Moon
Same!!
Looking back ive had adhd since i was 12 or so. But i had ocd and ptsd before then. Ptsd is my root issue but treating adhd helps a ton. It amazed me and angered me that i went undiagosed
I’m just really, really afraid of becoming dependent on the medication… after all, it’s still a stimulant. @Moon
You might especially if you take it a while. As long as you stay at your medicinal level youll be ok, its not much dofferent than becoming dependent on antipsychotics if you take it for extended periods.
Hey thanks for explanation, u r very nice person. @Moon
I’ll listen to my pdoc then.
This is really good news.
For me Ritalin worked like magic, I could focus, and I felt calm, etc. Then, from Abilify I ended up on Clozapine as the ADD medication triggered a severe psychotic episode.
I still find it very difficult to focus on reading, or applying myself when required. Like, sometimes, I can, that is when I enter the “zone” (Hyperfocus), other times I simply can’t get started. I wish I had the luxury of ADD medications. I am happy it is working out for you.
I already have a mini plan; by the way, with my doctor’s permission, to take it 2 or even 3 times a day—either all at once or, for example, every 4–5 hours. She asked me to pay attention to which dose brings the strongest effect… So today I already took two 18 mg pills, and the second one had a milder effect…
But I definitely got more done today than usual, I felt more motivated and emotionally calmer. So far, I truly don’t feel any anger or sadness. @angledangle
It’s strange to find a solution. It’s unusual to feel THIS light.
Thank you all for your heartfelt wishes and care.
Honestly i feel you i dont want to scary you but last year i took concerta mixed with olanzapine i heard that it can be working with psychosis but it gave me positive symptoms intrusive thoughts specially i hope it work well with you
When did you noticed it gives you positive symptoms? If I may ask,
After how long when u started concerta? @Winston
After one week if i remember correctly be carefull if you notice any kind of positive symptoms stop it immediately
But for everyone is different maybe you will not have positive symptoms maybe you are on remission i dont know your doc knows better
Beware of concerta crash when the drug wears off
Already felt that yesterday @Turtle44
