One of my inpatient pdoc’s told me that I need at least 9.5 hours of sleep every night. I told him, “good luck getting that doctor”. Actually, he was right. I do function at my best on about 9.5 hours of sleep a night. Actually, as long as I get 9.5 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period I’m good.
