Good luck with the appointment! @Jonathan2
I like your yays hehe
@Joker the act team is made up with several sw
before covid had 10 now down to 6
you also get a specialized pdoc that only works with act patients so they are more available
you also usually meet with a sw that is also a therapist for an hour a week if you need more the set up 30min visits or phone calls
then there are groups usually an hour some last a couple weeks others are constant
they are also more close to their patient
they really get to know you and how to help you
also if you go in crisis they have a beeper 24/7 so you can talk to them about the next step and try to talk you down so hospital is not necessary
i had to get a scholarship to get in
i dont know if its the same thing but it sounds like it
it has helped me alot would be better if they could replace the sw
Thanks for explaining it @yoda123
My referral went in today and they will be chasing it next week
sure your welcome no worries
hope you get it
She wasn’t too happy about me cancelling my Government job. But she prescribed my meds and was constructive. All in all not too bad. I’ll see her in 1 month again.
im sorry she was upset but she got over it if she gave you your meds
seeing her in a month is good
glad it went overall good
