Pdoc added 1 (up to 2mg if tolerated) fluphenazine (Prolixin) on top of my 30mg of Abilify. Anyone else on this combo? I am a little leery of going back on a Gen 1 AP and then there’s combining it…

I’m on 2 aps too 140mg ziprasidone and 10mg abilify I feel fine

I loved fluphenazine! I was on it for almost 3 years! Great med. I took 15mg though 5 in the afternoon and 10 at night. I could read a book and have an open discussion with someone, on that medicine. Abilify is supposed to be good for cognition. So ya, you lucked out
I’m on Abilify injections and good old Haldol, and it works pretty well for me. The Abilify alone just wasn’t enough, became a bit psychotic around New Year’s.
