I like a lot of the freedoms in the US, like freedom of speech and such. But my country hates poor people and disabled people. They would rather we not exist. So, I do hate my country, for that. But I love my country for other reasons.
No, I tend not to be. I’ve never felt much attachment to my country, and I don’t know that I want to.
I love my country, but i love all countries too.
Exploited workers are brothers internationally
Belgians are known to be not patriotic at all. I fit that description.
I think the Irish are very patriotic because of there history
I’m British and love my country.
I’m Australian and I like my country but im not patriotic. I’ve found people who are patriotic cannot take any criticisms about their country, even if something about it truly sucks. They just refuse to see the negative sides to their country, and it is important that you do, otherwise nothing will ever improve. For example: if the healthcare system in your country sucks, some one who is patriotic will get their hackles up if some one points this out, rather that saying “that’s true, we’ll try and improve it”. They would rather blindly love their country all the while people are dying from a bad healthcare system.
Nothing wrong with loving your country but keep an open mind. There are many great countries out there.
I’m patriotic and I am also certain my country isn’t perfect. I know our healthcare system sucks. But I still love my country
That depends on what you mean by “patriotic”. I don’t believe in “My country, right or wrong”, but I’m grateful that my country supports me with my disability. I love the personal freedom we have in the U.S. Free speech is a big one. I love that.
I am patriotic to my country. All the uneven things that are happening in past and present in my country are not suitable But I reset my mind thoughts according to it that it looks judgable. I am schizophrenic and no home out side.
hehe same for me… i’m not patriotic so much either… i was in the past though… one of the reasons i joined the army. But these days i don’t feel so patriotic.
I don’t know. I’m patriotic for my home country Germany when I watch the world Cup…
In my country the word patriotic has been appropriated by half of the people and weaponized against the other half.
America is a great country, but we’ve got a lot of work to do:
We need better healthcare, more safety nets for people, education reform, and gun control.
If I wasn’t patriotic, I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass about our nation and ways to improve it for our citizens.
I care about this country and want to make it a better place for everyone.
I am English but have pretty much grew up exclusively in Scotland.
To a Scottish ear I have an English accent. To the English I sound Scottish. Sometimes I feel like a stranger in either country.
But I do feel 100% British. I am thankful for that
I like my country but I’m not patriotic. We have a good healthcare system but the welfare system in Korea is terrible. People seem to grade people based on how great their university is and that needs to change.
My country has some great things going on but we need to think of our society more in depth to stop more suicides from happening. It’s often said that 45 people commit suicide every day in Korea. I’ve been suicidal before and it feels terrible to be suicidal all the time.
I really love my culture though! Korean food is amazing, I must tell you. The people at markets are so friendly. We even have a word for “Korean friendliness”. The people at markets always want to give more to you, and if you get a chance, you even get to have a good conversation with them. We also have BTS and Squid Game, so I am ever proud of my culture. We also have endured an arduous colonization period and saved our country from being ruled by shi*ty presidents.
I am from Malaysia,I do not love or hate my country.I would rate 5/10 for loving my country.I believe everywhere, every person will have the chance.Even a person in the worst or poorest country will have their chance of shinning or doing well
There’s a lot of turmoil in my country right now but I love my country.
It opened its arms to refugees and immigrants especially during the 1960s when me and my family arrived.
God bless America
Im not patriotic…some things i like, some not.
