Parking etiquette

Someone different parks directly in front of my house every freaking day.

I don’t know why it bothers me, but it does.

It’s like, directly in front.

It’s not my neighbor, she parks in her driveway,

It’s not my neighbor on the other side because I don’t have one there.

I’d be okay with basically any neighbor parking there,

But it just seems to be prime real estate for strangers.

Cars I don’t recognize.

Is it just me,

Or is that rude?

Parking right in front of someone’s house when other spots are available?

Maybe I’m just easily upset.

Don’t worry unless you start ‘seeing’ reasons for it.

I’m not paranoid about it.

I just think it’s rude.

There’s like so many other places to park.

They might feel safe in front of your house because you’re there… Just a guess

I live in a busy area with street parking. Its first come first serve. People park in different places all the time. With that still some people get upset if i park infront of there house. People park infront of mine all the time.
An old 80 year old granny called me and others bullys for taking her 60 year old sons parking spot for his bmw X6 that basically never leaves the street .

Sincerely Sir Level
The street bully :triumph:

It’s rude, but it’s also legal. Any public parking space is fair game even if it may be considered poor ettiquette.

One of our neighbors used to park right in front of our house, but they have stopped. They still park all over the entire rest of the street though. They have 12 to 14 cars at a time that they alternate . No joke, we’ve counted. Its usually around a dozen.

Edit: and they can only fit about 5 between their driveway and in front of their house so that leaves about 7 parked in front of other peoples houses when they are all home.

I remember reading about a guy that used 2 cars to reserve his spot on a busy street. He would park them far enough apart to reserve the spot but not far enough that anyone could park in it. Then he would adjust the cars to fit his car in-between :rofl::rofl:
