Over did it on the coffee - l-theanine to the rescue!

I have been drinking strong coffee all day. Like 10 cups.

Anyway a few of you may have seen my troubled post earlier. I was feeling really anxious before (but didn’t link it to the coffee)

I took 2 l theanine tabs like an hour ago and feel tremendously more calm and able now.

It’s like l theanine is the antidote to coffee

Just curious, how many mg of l-theanine did you take? I’m currently experimenting with my own dose.

I took 2 x 200mg

The fda says max dose in a 24 hour period is 1200mg. I used to take 2x600mg during the day previously and found that I had to taper off it at that dose when I wanted to stop otherwise I went bananas.

I always limit myself to 1 cup a day and have it as like a special treat type of thing. I cant imagine drinking 10 cups.

There was a time in my life where the first thing I did when I woke up was take 40 mini thins and drink five cups of coffee. Then I would drink five more cups through the day.

Every morning I take 200mg of L theanine and 2 cups of coffee.

I could never feel anything on L Theanine.

Maybe because I have benzos in my blood?

What do you feel on it?
