Neither drive, but the average train time from London(where they live) to the nearest station to me is just 71 minutes. My brother and I do exchange emails quite often . Very very few emails from my sister i.e 3 in 15 years. She very occasionally replies to, or likes, a Facebook post by me.
Probably because of covid. It’s put a lot of people off travel.
Maybe try sending your sister some emails with photos of your place etc. People tend to respond to multimedia a lot better.
