So, I am prescribed more than the accepted dose of risperidone. … 4mg, 3x daily… the insurance requires a prior Auth before they will pay it. It hasn’t been a year since my last pa. I’m wondering why I wasn’t told that I would need one so soon.
The Ins co says they won’t pay without it, and it takes 48 hours to get it done. I took my last dose this morning. They just called me and said they were sent to voicemail. When they called my doc.
The pharmacy says they can fill it, but it will be expensive. I’m on ssdi. I saved enough out to pay for the expected amount I have to pay, normally.
The pdoc’s nurse told me that she would call the pharmacy.
What in the world is going to happen, when I miss my ap? I’m trying to be positive, but my anxiety is intense. I’m scared. I have plans for valentine’s day, and this is pissing me off.
